 | You scored as Neo, the "One". Neo is the computer hacker-turned-Messiah of the Matrix. He leads a small group of human rebels against the technology that controls them. Neo doubts his ability to lead but doesn't want to disappoint his friends. His goal is for a world where all men know the Truth and are free from the bonds of the Matrix.

My Kindomality Job Personality - The White Knight
Your distinct personality, The White Knight, might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. Don Quixote was a White Knight as was Joan of Arc, the Lone Ranger and Crusader Rabbit. As a White Knight you expect nothing in return for your good deeds. You are one of the true "Givers" of the world. You are the anonymous philanthropist who shares your wealth, your time and your life with others. To give, is its own reward and as a White Knight you seek no other. On the positive side you are merciful, sympathetic, helpful, giving and heroic. On the negative side you may be impulsively decisive, sentimental and misdirected. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms. to find out yours go to: http://www.cmi-lmi.comHave fun Ed | | Monday, February 7th, 2005 | | 10:03 pm |

Way late but I'm up
Had a great day of manual labor on the deer. All processed and the pelt is cleaned and now is being treated to remove the hair. I'll be tanning it over the next few weeks. I had a dream last night of a totally awesome suit to make with my deer hide. It was like Neo's trench-coat but in deer hide. Wow, taking the Matrix to the Dark Ages. Then we went to a friend's house and had Ribs and Chicken from Corky's of Memphis. Very nice. I had some nice wine too and was happy my wife was the designated driver. My BAC was .11 and I don't drink and drive under any circumstances. I highly recommend people get one of these breathalyzer things. The research shows that people's driving is affected at levels as low as .05. We went skating in NYC on thursday and met up with some of my Alumni from University of Alberta. We almost missed them because they weren't identifiable, I ended up recognizing a guy from my home town. Suni, we've been out of there 15 years. Wild. The coordinator, Brian, gave me a license plate border for my car, Alumni Pride. My play, Epic Proportions, finished last night. We had a little party after and I received the "Best Drum Major" award. Very cool. Pretty busy all month. I can't wait for the Superbowl tomorrow. Going over to Eric's to check it on the big screen. Go Pats. I'm still gunning for the Magesdeep, going to be cool. Well, maybe I'll try some sleep. Goodnight. Teg | | Tuesday, February 1st, 2005 | | 4:33 pm |
January 31st adventure
I have harvested my first big game with my bow. Yesterday was the last day of hunting season and I have been out many times this year and not seen anything. The last few days they have been coming just before sunset, I have seen up to 12 at the same time but I haven't had any success. Whitetail deer are a worthy prey, they are very wiley and in a group they have many lookouts. Yesterday they had me pegged as something unusual in their territory. In the short version of this story they returned to my area after me calling, etc., five times. Everytime I tried to draw my bow they scurried out of range. I was having trouble drawing it in the end due to fatigue and cold. I eventually drew back on a deer who scampered away; while at full draw I slowly turned to my left where one had remained and unaware. I lined up my sights and sent the arrow on its way. She dropped where she stood and kicked a little and soon she passed. She was a beautiful 2 and a 1/2 year old doe of about 170lbs, she was very well fed and had a good layer of insulating fat. She has been dressed and I am looking forward to curing the hide. My wife and in-laws helped me with it, also a friend, Norm, helped me dress and prepare her. It was such a great experience. In posting this to a open forum I know there are some who may take offence. Know that I have tremendous respect for these animals and that we will use everything we can from her so she will not be wasted. Another issue is the dangerous overpopulation of these animals and the resulting diseases that the population is prone to (Lyme disease developed here due to this) as there are very few natural predators in Connecticut. I believe in addition to being a worthy hobby, hunting is an important part of maintaining the balance of nature. I have to say I am very happy. Teg | | Sunday, January 16th, 2005 | | 11:24 pm |
Costume craziness
Since the November Event Teg has been taking up my time... he demands a wardrobe. To satisfy this man's demands I have taken on an apprenticeship with my OOG wife learning to sew. I'm to junior tailor now. I have made pillows, pillowcases, scarves, shirts, a hat and a pair of pants and gaiters, and my wife has made me a super tunic. I have opted for the magic stitching device she acquired through some exercise of commerce, a sewing machine I think she calls it. This makes it much less time consuming to make an item of clothing but the magic monsters who run the machine are prone to acting up and eating my fabric from time to time. In the meantime my play will open this coming week. I'm playing Phil in "Epic Proportions". I start out as a reluctant extra on a movie set of the Ben Hur/Moses type movie and end up becoming the director before too long. It's at the Darien Arts Center, 2 weeks. Website: Players.Darien.org Come check it out. Something interesting... I got head-butted today while rehearsing a stage-fight. Instant headache on the opposite sid of the head-butt. Now I've got a a head-butt-buddy... great. Current Mood: accomplished | | Tuesday, January 4th, 2005 | | 2:49 pm |
